• The Hospital uses the best anaesthetic regimes with continuous monitoring of all anaesthetised animals.
• Radiography is performed using a powerful capacitor discharge unit and radiographs are processed using a Fuji automatic processor.
• Only the best quality sutures and implants are used - individually packaged and sterilised.
• All surgery is performed using aseptic techniques - we are experienced at many facets of orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery.Instruments are autoclaved and each individual surgery has its own pack.
• Pathology is performed by accredited laboratories or in-house as needed.
• Dental instrumentation includes ultrasonic scalers, micro-motors and polishers.
• Our stainless steel ward cages are kept meticulously clean to prevent the transmission of infections and we have separate isolation cages for cases of high infectivity.
• Only the best quality medications are used and supplied - whether it is the latest preventative for fleas, shampoos, over the counter medications or the most advanced antibiotic. We will not compromise on quality.
• If we recognise that your animal requires specialist service we do not hesitate in utilising the expertise of some of Australia's and the world's best referral centres and veterinarians. We will do this as needed and as requested by our clients and in the best interest of their animals.
